They snuck this and provisions of HCR in through the Stimulus bill. This other crap is more for financing, procedure, and how to rape us from our hard earned money.
Duke Energy switched out our meters a little over 2 months ago, and our power bill went from $70 to $120 in one month. This was before we had the big freeze here in Charlotte. The bill we just received after the $120 went to $190.
I went to check on the new meters Duke Energy installed, and they are from a company called Echelon, and lo and behold, they are digital and are connected to the smart grid. They even brag about it. These companies were not supposed to implement this until some sort of energy legislation was passed, so why am I and others across this nation hooked up?
I’ve also talked to people who say their health benefits have gone up dramatically.
2+2=4, pretty simple to connect the dots on this one.
