Improvise

My wife and I had a  little taste of what it might be like in the near future the last 2 days.  The incompetent maintenance guys decided to fix a leaking water main at our complex and totally jacked it up.

2 days without water for the whole 360 unit complex.

You don’t know how much you actually use running water, and how helpless you can feel if you don’t have it.  Through a good friend, we learned that a potful of pool water flushes a toilet nicely.  Hold the pot a couple of feet above the bowl and dump about a gallon of water into it.  Flushes just like it does regularly.

We treated this pain in the ass inconvenience as a learning experience.  We learned how to do something very useful – improvise.

What This Blog Is About

From the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 to the deaths of Founding Fathers John Adams and Thomas Jefferson on July 4, 1826, we had 50 years to the day of pure, God given freedoms. On July 5, 1826, that all changed.

We need to fight back against tyranny so we can get back to those 50 years of our Republic's birth.
