Twitter Can Tweet Your Location Now? WTF?

I just got this message on my Twitter page:

-Tweet with your location

-Turning on location allows Twitter to display your location information (like neighborhood, town, or exact point) with your tweets.

-Twitter saves the exact coordinates used to determine your location in order to help us improve the feature.

Why in the hell would I want something like this showing up on my tweets?  Sure, go ahead and tell every freaking psycho know exactly where I freaking live!

What in the hell is Twitter thinking by offering something like this?

From the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 to the deaths of Founding Fathers John Adams and Thomas Jefferson on July 4, 1826, we had 50 years to the day of pure, God given freedoms. On July 5, 1826, that all changed.

We need to fight back against tyranny so we can get back to those 50 years of our Republic's birth.
